| A shorter day hike is to just walk into Hanakapiana Beach from Kee Beach at the end of the road in Haena. This short leg is only two miles that take about an hour and a half and enables a visit to the cascading HANAKAPIANA FALLS. The falls are at the end of a narrow trial by a stream that goes inland for about a mile. Signs warn about flash floods when it rains so enjoy the incredible lush vegetation and luxuriate in the pools and waterfalls but keep alert. | |
